Acleris minuta (Robinson, 1896) - (yellowheaded fireworm)
This moth is mainly found in eastern North America, where it is an occasional pest of fruit trees like apple or plum. The larvae feed on the leaves and after heavy infestations, attacked trees appear to be damaged by fire. There are 2-3 generations per year. The wingspan of the adult moth is around 15 mm.
