Acerophagus coccois (parasitoid) Smith, 1880
This parasitoid is widely distributed and has been recorded from the Americas, and parts of Africa, Asia and the Pacific (Universal Chalcidoidea Database). In some areas, it has been released as part of biological control programs (e.g. see Bento et al., 1999). The hosts are mainly mealybugs from the genus Phenacoccus.
