Abstract: Anastrepha fraterculus (Wiedemann) and Ceratitis capitata (Wiedemann) (Diptera, Teph-ritidae) were associated with fruits of Butia eriospatha (Mart. ex Drude) Becc. (Arecaceae) for the first time in Brazil, from samples collected in Passo Fundo, state of Rio Grande do Sul.
