Acrolepiopsis Gaedike, 1970
This genus of microlepidoptera includes about 30 species that are found in temperate regions of Europe, Asia and North America. Several species are considered to be agricultural pests and mine the leaves and buds. The leek moth, Acrolepiopsis assectella, is invasive in North America and an important pest of Allium crops. The wingspan is 7 to 18 mm with the forewings having typically a dark brownish colour with lighter marks.
