Bactrocera correcta (Bezzi, 1916)
This polyphagous fruit fly is found in southern Asia. It is of quarantine concern in other countries and been recorded several times in North America. However, it has not yet established there. Important crops attacked include guava, mango, cherry and citrus. The development from egg to adult fly can be as short as 2 weeks.
