Funneliformis mosseae (antagonist) (T.H. Nicolson & Gerd.) C. Walker & A. Schüßler 2010

This arbuscular mycorrhizal fungus colonizes the roots of a large variety of plants forming a symbiotic association which promotes plant growth and helps the host to defend itself against a variety of diseases. It has large spherical, straw-coloured spores with a diameter of around 200 µm.
