Diadromus collaris (parasitoid) (Gravenhorst)
This wasp is a widespread pupal parasitoid of the diamondback moth (Plutella xylostella). It is native to Europe, but has been introduced into various countries. It injects a venom into its host for suppressing the defense of the pupa and develops through 4 larval stages within less than 2 weeks (laboratory observations). Adult wasps feed on flowers.
