Erythroneura elegantula (Osborn) - (western grape leafhopper)

The leafhopper attacks grapevine in North America. The adults overwinter in leaf litter or evergreen plants near vineyards. They feed and oviposit on mature leaves starting in spring and there are typically 2 generations per year.
