Bemisia afer (Priesner & Hosny, 1934) - (sycamore whitefly)
This species of Bemisia is polyphagous and widely distributed in warmer parts of the world, also in glasshouses in temperate regions. It is characterized by several morphological features of the puparium, e.g. the vasiform orifice is triangular and pointed at the end. This taxon is possibly a complex of several species.
