Myzus nicotianae (Blackmann) - tobacco aphid
is a major pest of tobacco in North America. It is closely related to Myzus persicae and was only separated from that species in 1987. Some authors still doubt whether this is indeed a separate species.

Synonyms:
Myzus persicae nicotianae.

Vernacular names
• English: tobacco aphid
