Grapholita funebrana Treitschke, 1835 - (plum fruit moth)

The larvae of this species cause serious damage in Europe by boring into ripening plums. Cherry and peach are also occasionally attacked. Several Prunus species are wild host plants like Prunus spinosa. There may be up to 3 generations per year. The larvae of the last generation overwinter and pupate at the end of the winter.
