Amblyseius Berlese, 1904
This genus contains more than 100 species and includes a number of beneficial predatory mites which feed on phytophagous mites, thrips and whitefly nymphs. It is characterized by the shape of the sternal scutum, medium sized chelicerae and the arrangement of setae. Some species are produced commercially.
