Template:CheckNote

The template returns a warning message if both the field 'Note:' and the field 'Journal or series:' are blank.

The template takes the following 3 parameters:

Any previous error message

|2= 

The field Note

|3= 

The field Journal or series

The template adds:

• Category:Internal - check note

Usage

… results in:

Missing “Journal or Series” or “Note”: Either a journal or series needs to be entered or the field ‘Note’ (under ‘Further details’) should be completed for publications outside journals or series like books or book chapters. ‘Note:’ should contain information, like the publisher or details on the book. Please re-check!
