Thyanta pallidovirens (Stål, 1859) - (red-shouldered stink bug)

This stink bug is found in western North America. It is polyphagous and a pest of various crops (e.g. pistachio and other nuts, tomatoes, legumes and brassica crops). The adults are around 10 mm long, green with a reddish band across the pronotum.
