Stagonosporopsis trachelii (Allesch.) Aveskamp, Gruyter & Verkley 2010
This fungus has been recorded from Europe and Asia. It causes mainly leaf spots on plants of the family Campanulaceae like Trachelium and Campanula, but has been also reported to infect other plants. Infections on Campanula can lead to outbreaks with extensive chlorosis, followed by the appearance of brown, irregular spots on the leaves, and longitudinal necrosis on the stems (Garibaldi et al., 2015).
