Sitta canadensis (predator) L. - (red-breasted nuthatch)

This bird is found in North America, where it is considered to be a useful predator of insects infesting tree trunks. For example, it is considered important for suppressing the emerald ash borer, Agrilus planipennis, especially during the winter.
