Sisymbrium (weeds) - (hedge-mustards)

This genus of cruciferous herbs contains around 100 species. They are found predominantely in temperate and subtropical regions. Several are important agricultural weeds like Sisymbrium irio or S. orientale. The species are characterized by yellow or white flowers, long and thin seed pods and deeply cut leaves.
