Rhagium Fabricius, 1775

This genus of long-horned beetles is found in temperate regions of the northern hemisphere and includes around 25 species. Rhagium inquisitor can be a minor pest of pine trees and other conifers in the northern hemisphere.

The adult beetles are 1-3 cm long with comparatively short antennae (not reaching the middle of the elytra) and with a pair of lateral tubercles on the pronotum. Some species have ribbed elytra.
