Puccinia hemerocallidis Thüm. 1888 - (daylily rust)

The fungus is widely distributed and causes rust of Hemerocallis (daylilies) species. The uredia are orange and the urediniospores spherical to slightly oval, around 20 µm in diameter and uniformly echinulate. The teliospores are dark and around 30-40 x 12-15 µm large.
