First report of Apple luteovirus 1 in apple trees in Greece
Plant Disease 104 (9), 2530-2530
Abstract: During 2018, apple trees grown in Greece were observed with symptoms of leaf mosaic and bark scaling or suffering from apple small fruit disorder. Apart from viruses frequently found in apple cultivation in Greece (apple chlorotic leaf spot virus, apple mosaic virus, apple stem pitting virus, apple stem grooving virus), the presence of Apple luteovirus 1 was demonstrated in the symptomatic plants using PCR analysis and nucleotide sequencing.
