Abstract: During 2011, green beans (Phaseolus vulgaris) grown in Spain were observed with symptoms of intervenal mottling as well as yellowing on middle and lower leaves combined with brittleness. The presence of Lettuce chlorosis virus infecting was demonstrated in the symptomatic plants using PCR analysis and nucleotide sequencing.
