First report of Cucurbit chlorotic yellows virus infecting muskmelon and cucumber in Sudan
Plant Disease 95 (10), 1321-1321
Abstract: During 2009, muskmelon (Cucumis melo) and cucumber (Cucumis sativus) plants grown in the Sudan were observed with symptoms of chlorosis and yellowing. The presence of Cucurbit chlorotic yellows virus was demonstrated in the symptomatic plants using PCR analysis and nucleotide sequencing. The sequences obtained from the Sudanese samples showed only negligible sequence differences from Asian isolates.
