First report of Papaya ringspot virus infecting zucchini plants in Poland

Abstract: During 2009, zucchini (Cucurbita pepo) plants grown in Poland were observed with symptoms of leaf mosaic and marbled fruit. The presence of Papaya ringspot virus was demonstrated in the symptomatic plants using PCR analysis and nucleotide sequencing.
