Plant Disease 86 (5), 559-559
Abstract: Since 1992, oilseed and confection sunflowers (Helianthus annuus) grown in Kansas, U.S.A. were observed with symptoms of white rust. Between 1994 and 1997, the disease was also found on sunflowers in Colorado. The fungus was identified as Albugo tragopogonis based on morphological characteristics.
