Abstract: During 2000, greenhouse cucumber plants grown in Spain were observed with symptoms of vein clearing followed by chlorosis in leaves and yellow/green chlorotic spots on fruits. The presence of Cucumber vein yellowing virus was demonstrated in the symptomatic plants using PCR analysis and nucleotide sequencing.
