Panicum maximum (weed) Jacq. - (guineagrass)

This grass is native to Africa, but has become invasive in various tropical and subtropical regions of America and Asia. In some of these areas it was originally introduced as a forage crop or for reducing soil erosion. The plants can grow to a height of up to 3 m.
