Selected aspects of plant protection in Poland, five years on from EU accession
Outlook on Agriculture 40 (2), 119-123
Abstract: Accession to the European Union (EU) had an impact on the Polish agricultural sector. Plant protection was influenced mainly by the implementation of EU law as well as the demand and prices of the Common Market. This paper describes the present status of plant protection and the registration of plant protection products in Poland, with particular regard to changes that took place during the first five years of Polish membership of the EU (1 May 2004–30 April 2009).
