Nitidulidae - (sap beetles)
The family of Nitidulidae contains more than 4,000 species including several agricultural and storage pests. Many species feed on fungi and can be found in decaying organic matter.

The adults are small and are typically only 2-3 mm long with a brown or black colour, sometimes with red or yellow spots. The last 3 antennal segments are club-shaped.
