Monotomidae - Rhizophagus Herbst, 1793

The Monotomidae are is a small family of beetles with around 250 species. They have a variety of life styles but most of them prey on other insects or feed on fungi. The genus Rhizophagus contains a few species that prey on insect pests like bark beetles.
