Isaria farinosa (Holmskiold ex. S.F. Gray 1781) Fr. 1832 (against insects)
Teleomorph name: Cordyceps memorabilis (syn. Racemella memorabilis)

This is a common, soil dwelling, entomopathogenic fungus which infects insects from nearly all orders. It is widely distributed and seems to be particularly effective at cooler temperatures. For a review see G. Zimmermann, 2008.
