Hyposoter ebeninus (parasitoid) (Gravenhorst, 1829)
This wasp is found in Europe, northern Africa and western Asia. It is a common solitary endoparasitoid of caterpillars of Pieris and other Lepidoptera. Typically, females oviposit in early instars and complete their development in mature host larvae, forming a cocoon inside the host with distinct black marks.
