Gloeophyllales - Gloeophyllum P. Karst. (1882)
The order Gloeophyllales and the genus Gloeophyllum contain wood decay fungi which may infest felled logs and wooden structures like wooden fences, bridges or poles. Infested wood develops a brown rot and flat fruiting bodies. The genus Gloeophyllum is placed by some authors under the Polyporales.
