Gentian mosaic virus (GeMV)

This virus has been described from Japan (Kobayashi et al., 2005) where it was found to infect Gentiana scabra plants, causing mosaic symptoms. After artificial inoculation, it has been shown to also infect and produce symptoms on Nicotiana benthamiana.
