Faba bean necrotic stunt virus (FBNSV)

This virus has been described from Ethiopia and infects faba beans. It differs from the related Faba bean necrotic yellows virus by causing leaf rolling and severe plant stunting which is often associated with apical necrosis in faba bean as early as 2 to 3 weeks after inoculation (Grigoras et al., 2009). A related strain has been also described from Morocco.
