Colletotrichum simmondsii R.G. Shivas & Y.P. Tan 2010

This fungus has been recorded in Europe, Asia and Australia where it causes anthracnose, stunting, damping-off and other diseases on a variety of crops. It is part of the Colletotrichum acutatum species complex (Damm et al. 2012).
