Coleosporium ipomoeae (weed pathogen) (Schwein.) Burrill 1885

This fungus infects different weedy species of Ipomoea in the Americas. It can also infect sweet potatoes (Ipomoea batatas). The weed species infected include, for example, tall morningglory (Ipomoea purpurea) and red morningglory (Ipomoea coccinea).
