Camarotella Theiss. & Syd. 1915

This is a small genus of plant pathogenic fungi. Two of the species cause verrucosis diseases (or coconut scab wart) with necrotic leaf lesions and chlorosis on coconut palms in South America. It is difficult to grow both species on culture media (de Oliveira et al., 2004).
