Bombyx mori NPV (BmNPV) - (grasserie)

This species is a nuclear polyhedrosis virus of the silkworm Bombyx mori which can cause economic losses of up to 80% in a silkworm cultures. The virus is also used to produce recombinant proteins with the baculovirus expression vector system (BEVS).
