Austropuccinia psidii (weed pathogen) G. Winter

This fungus is mainly considered to be a harmful pathogen, infecting useful trees like eucalypts or crops like guava (see Austropuccinia psidii as pathogen). However, it can be also beneficial when it infects weeds like the invasive tree Melaleuca quinquenervia. This page deals with the latter aspect.
