Aphelinus certus (parasitoid) Yasnosh, 1963
This wasp species is a parasitoid of the soybean aphid, Aphis glycines. Both host and parasitoid are native to Asia and have been accidentally introduced into North America. The distribution of the parasitoid includes far-eastern Russia, China, Korea, and Japan. It was first recorded from North America in 2004, a few years after the first record of the soybean aphid and both insects might have been introduced together. In North America, A. certus can reach high levels of parasitism in the soybean aphid and has colonised most northern soybean growing areas.
