Agrius cingulata Fabricius 1775 - (pink spotted hawkmoth)
This hawkmoth is found in the Americas and breeds on plants of the family Convolvulaceae. It is sometimes regarded as a minor pest of sweet potatoes. It has also spread to other regions like Africa (Ballesteros-Mejia et al., 2011).
