Ranunculales (weeds)

The order contains almost 3,000 species of herbaceous and woody plants, including many important weedy and invasive ones. The plants are mostly herbs, vines or shrubs. The leaves are often divided. The flowers have a simple, bisexual structure and are often radially symmetric. Evolutionary, the order is one of the oldest groups of eudicotyledons, going back to around 100 million years.
