First report of Lasiodiplodia crassispora as a pathogen of grapevine trunks in South Africa
Plant Disease 94 (8), 1063-1063
Abstract: From 2003 to 2004, grapevine (Vitis vinifera) were surveyed in South Africa and fungal diseases were isolated from visually healthy plants. The fungus Lasiodiplodia crassispora was isolated. Results of pathogenicity tests showed that significantly longer lesions were caused by L. crassispora compared to inoculations with Neofusicoccum australe
