Phyllachorales

This order of fungi is based on the genus Phyllachora and contains 2 families of plant pathogens (Phaeochoraceae and Phyllachoraceae). They form bright or black stroma and produce unitunicate asci with hyaline or slightly pigmented ascospores. This page deals with pathogens of crops only.
