Arion hortensis Férussac (common garden slug)
attacks potatoes, tobacco and grapevine, including the grape berries. Some authors consider Arion distinctus (here listed as a separate species) a synonym. Differences between the two species include for example the colour of the tentacles (black or grey for A. distinctus and reddish for A. hortensis).
